 Dr. Gareth Weiner is a partner in private practice at Rocky Mountain Gastroenterology Associates in Denver, Colorado, where he has served for ten years, along with seventeen partners located throughout the Denver metropolitan area. In addition to his private practice, he is a member of the American Gastroenterology Association (AGA), the American College of Gastroenterology (ACG) and the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (ASGE).
Through his affiliation with Rocky Mountain Gastroenterology Associates, Dr. Weiner is an active member of a clinical research program, headed by Dr. John Goff of the Lakewood Endoscopy Center. In addition to the study of irritable bowel syndrome, Dr. Weiner specializes in treating all GI disorders, with particular focus on issues related to the colon, including aggressive colon cancer screening programs. Dr. Weiner's research articles have been published in The Journal of Clinical Gastroenterology, Gastroenterology, and Gastrointestinal Endoscopy.
Dr. Weiner completed his bachelor's degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at The University of Colorado in Boulder and received his medical degree from The University of Colorado Health Sciences Center in Denver. Dr. Weiner is licensed in the state of Colorado and he is certified in both Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology.
