 Dr. Steven Lenhard is a Board-Certified Internist at Marietta Adult Medicine Associates of WellStar Physicians Group and holds active staff privileges at WellStar Kennestone Hospital in Marietta, Georgia. He is currently a member of the American College of Physicians. Dr. Lenhard participates in the physician/medical student mentor and physician assistant programs at Emory University School of Medicine and volunteers at the Kennestone Clinic for Low Income Patients.
Dr. Lenhard has served as the primary investigator for three clinical trials that evaluated treatments for GERD, respiratory infections and hypertension and has contributed to studies that have been published in the Journal of the Federation of American Societies for Experimental Biology (FASEB), American Journal of Physiology, and the Journal of the American College of Cardiology.
Dr. Lenhard received his bachelor's of science degree from the University of Georgia and his medical degree from Emory University in Atlanta. He completed his residency and internship in internal medicine at Emory University Affiliated Hospitals.
