 Dr. Damian Augustyn is Chief of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at California Pacific Medical Center in San Francisco, Associate Clinical Professor of Medicine at the University of California, San Francisco, School of Medicine and Managing Partner of Pacific Internal Medicine Associates, a private medical practice in San Francisco.
In support of his academic and clinical work, Dr. Augustyn is a Governor on the Board of Governors of the American Gastroenterological Association and Chairman of their Practice Management Committee.
In addition, he is associated with the California Medical Association, the American College of Physicians, the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, the Northern California Society for Clinical Gastroenterology and the California Federation of Digestive Disease Societies. He has held a number of positions with Blue Cross Of California Insurance Company, and the San Francisco Medical Society. He has also served in a variety of positions with professional groups within California Pacific Medical Center.
Dr. Augustyn completed his bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences at Stanford University in Stanford, California and received his medical degree from Harvard Medical School in Boston, Massachusetts. Dr. Augustyn is licensed in the state of California.
